# Library storytimes in Birmingham, by day and branch

> We read the event calendars of Hoover Public Library and Homewood Public Library and found six storytimes that repeat every week at three branches: six family or mixed-age. Each one links to its event page on the library’s calendar. Holiday weeks can change the schedule, so check the event page before you go.

## FAQ

### Are there Saturday or Sunday storytimes in Birmingham?
Not on a weekly schedule right now. Every storytime we found is on a weekday; this week’s list has any one-off weekend story events.

### Do I need to sign up for storytime in Birmingham?
None of these list registration on the library calendar. Check the event page before you go, since popular times can fill a room.

### How do you check these storytimes?
Each storytime comes from the library system’s own event calendar: the same storytime at the same branch, weekday and time on at least three dates in four weeks. We only list a date, time or price when that page shows it, and anything we can’t confirm stays off. These were last checked Oct 20, 2026, and we recheck them every month, and the weekly list every Thursday. [How we choose and check](https://littlesweekly.com/how-we-choose/).
