# Visiting Greenville with toddlers and little kids: the plan

> Greenville is one of the easiest trips on this list. The children’s museum, the library and Falls Park are all downtown, and the Zoo is a minute away in Cleveland Park. Here’s how we’d spend one or two days with nap in the middle.

## Top 5 can’t-miss spots

- **The Children’s Museum of the Upstate** (Heritage Green, downtown): Make it your first morning. South Carolina residents pay less, so bring an ID if you live in state. Cost: $20 per person. Site: https://tcmupstate.org/
- **Falls Park on the Reedy** (Downtown): A perfect after-nap walk. Stroll over the bridge for the waterfall view, then wander Main Street. Cost: Free. Site: https://www.greenvillesc.gov/falls-park
- **Greenville Zoo** (Cleveland Park): Small enough that a toddler can walk most of it. Plan about two hours. Cost: $12 kids, $15 adults. Site: https://www.greenvillezoo.com/
- **Paris Mountain State Park** (North of town (about 20 minutes)): Stay near Lake Placid, where there’s bank access and parking close by. The longer hikes are too much for little legs. Site: https://www.southcarolinaparks.com/paris-mountain
- **Upcountry History Museum** (Heritage Green, downtown): A short add-on next to the Children’s Museum, best for older preschoolers. Cost: $10 kids, $14 adults. Site: https://upcountryhistory.org/
