Connect your assistant to Littles Weekly
If you plan weekends with Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant, you can point it straight at our lists. It reads the same checked listings you see on this site, for every city we cover, and it links back to the page so you can look things over before you load up the car.
The address
https://littlesweekly.com/mcp
It’s free and read-only, with no account or key. Technically it’s a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server over Streamable HTTP, listed in the official MCP Registry as com.littlesweekly/littles-weekly.
How to add it
- Claude (web or desktop): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Paste the address above and leave the sign-in fields empty.
- ChatGPT: with developer mode on, add a custom connector with the address above and no authentication.
- Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http littles-weekly https://littlesweekly.com/mcp
- Cursor (
~/.cursor/mcp.json):
{
"mcpServers": {
"littles-weekly": { "url": "https://littlesweekly.com/mcp" }
}
}
- VS Code (
.vscode/mcp.json):
{
"servers": {
"littles-weekly": { "type": "http", "url": "https://littlesweekly.com/mcp" }
}
}
Any other app that takes a remote MCP server by URL works the same way.
What it can look up
- list_cities: every city we cover, with the week it’s checked for.
- list_pages and get_page: any page on the site, section by section: this week’s Top 5 and weekend plans, every outing, the city guide and visiting plans, free days and who gets in free, always-free places, storytimes, indoor play (ages, prices, toddler times, sock rules), Santa, Christmas lights, Thanksgiving, Noon Year’s Eve, weekend getaways, and each page’s FAQ.
- get_events: dated outings for a city, filtered by dates, free, indoor or your kid’s age.
- search: a keyword search across every listing and FAQ, in one city or all of them.
Things to ask
- “What’s free for a 2-year-old in Omaha this weekend?”
- “Find a breakfast with Santa near Kansas City and tell me what it costs.”
- “Which indoor play places in Columbus have a toddler time, and do they need grip socks?”
- “Plan a Saturday in Nashville with a 4-year-old, nap at 1.”
Good to know
- It only knows what’s on our pages, refreshed every time we publish. If a city has nothing listed for something, it says so instead of making something up.
- Every answer carries the littlesweekly.com page and the official link we checked, with the date we checked it. Hours and prices change, so check the venue’s page before you go.
- It can’t sign you up, buy tickets or see anything about you. We keep a simple count of which lookups get used and for which city, and nothing else.
- Spotted something wrong? Tell us at hello@littlesweekly.com or through the feedback form.
Prefer plain files? Every page also has a Markdown version (add index.md to its address), and llms.txt lists them all.
