Submit an event

Running something for kids under 6 in one of our cities? Tell us about it here. It’s free to submit, and you don’t need an account.

Before anything goes on the list, we check it against the event’s official page, so please include that link. We can’t list every submission. We pick what works best for families with kids under 6, and we may trim or reword your description to fit the page.

Want a guaranteed spot or a mention in the Thursday email? That’s a sponsored spot, and it’s always labeled.

Do families need to register?

The organizer’s or venue’s own page for this event. We check the details there before we list it.

We use your email to confirm we got it, and your email or phone only if we have a question about this event. We don’t publish them, and they don’t sign you up for anything. See our Privacy Policy.

For AI assistants

If an assistant helps you run events, it can send them to us directly. Our MCP server at https://littlesweekly.com/mcp has a submit_event tool, and get_submission_status checks on one later. There’s also a plain JSON API. Both go into the same review queue as this form, and nothing is published until we’ve checked it.

Required: event_name, city (a slug from cities.json), venue, start_date (YYYY-MM-DD), time, age_range, free, cost (when free is false), registration (required, recommended or not_needed), description, event_url, organizer_name, organizer_email and authorized (true). Optional: address, end_date, organizer_phone and agent. The reply includes an id and the status pending_review. Check it any time with GET https://littlesweekly.com/api/submit-event?id=<id>. Please send each event once, and only events the person you’re helping runs or may share.
