Three things that make storytime easier

AgesPick the right ageBaby storytimes are slower, with songs and lap rhymes. Toddler and preschool times add movement and longer books.
TimingArrive ten minutes earlyRooms can fill on busy mornings, and a few minutes to settle in helps little ones join in.

Good questions

Storytime in Savannah: the FAQ

Baby Storytime (Islands Library, Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.); Baby Storytime (Oglethorpe Mall Library, Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.); Baby Storytime (Southwest Chatham Library, Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.).

Not on a weekly schedule right now. Every storytime we found is on a weekday; this week’s list has any one-off weekend story events.

None of these list registration on the library calendar. Check the event page before you go, since popular times can fill a room.

Each storytime comes from the library system’s own event calendar: the same storytime at the same branch, weekday and time on at least three dates in four weeks. We only list a date, time or price when that page shows it, and anything we can’t confirm stays off. These were last checked Oct 20, 2026, and we recheck them every month, and the weekly list every Thursday. How we choose and check.
